Taipan has just released "1 in 6," the third music video off their debut album, “Straight From The Underground.”  The album has won acclaim from several metal websites, including Metalholic.com as a top 10 album of 2015, and is available through all major outlets worldwide on Fono Records and Dead Sea Records. The album has also been nominated by Metal Messiah Radio for album of the year. Taipan stormed the International metal community with the “Straight From The Underground” album, released on August 31st, 2015.  The band’s video “White Fog of Bhopal” has gained over 36,000 views and has touched the world with its sobering content.  The animated documentary/music video is a haunting recount of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy in India, 1984. The new video, "1 in 6" is produced and directed by Dead Sea Records. The song is produced by Logan Mader and features Alexander Strelnikov from Imperial Age (Russia) on leads. The video combines live performance shot at the world-famous Dollhut in Anaheim, with a frantic story of Russian Roulette that is based on true events.  The “Straight From the Underground” album includes appearances by Aaron Rossi, Chris Poland, Tony Campos, Alexander Strelnikov and more. Taipan is now in the company of such heavy-hitters as The Black Dahila Murder, Battlecross, Bolt Thrower, White Chapel and nearly two hundred other amazing bands on the world-wide distribution label, Fono Records. Taipan can be seen in the United States and internationally in 2016 at such events as Wacken Caribbean and the India Open Air Festival in July with Soilwork and Vader.  Their next album is already being written and will again feature big stars of the metal scene like Marc Rizzo, guitarist for Soulfly and Tony Dolan, bassist for Venom. ... lassen die 70-er Jahre wieder aufleben!

Mit ihrem nunmehr dritten Album hauchen JC Crash den 70-er Jahren wieder Leben ein. JC Crash stehen für den Sound von damals - jedoch mit modernen Mitteln aufgenommen.

Die Band bietet uns hier zwölf rockige Stampfer, wobei Sänger Rooby bei allen stimmlich immer ganz nahe an Bon Scott dran ist, das bleibt auch bei `Electrified´ wieder klar herauszustellen.

Was sich bei den Songs aber neben den AC/DC Klängen abhebt ist z. B. bei Song zwei `Gone But Not Forgotten´ beim Chor, dass dieser an die Boogie Zeit von David Lee Roth`s Solo-Zeiten erinnert.

Zur  Instrumentierung bleibt zu sagen, dass diese genau die gleiche wie bei AC/DC ist und auch der Mix wird ganz ähnlich nachempfunden und das ganze Konzept ist im Einklang und exakt stimmig.

JC Crash bleiben sich und ihrer Linie treu und erspielen sich damit anhand von ein paar Reviews, die bereits jetzt schon durch das Netz huschen viele neue Fans. Die Jungs machen was sie lieben und die Vergleiche zu AC/DC werden ihnen natürlich auch in Zukunft an den Fersen kleben. aber das ist doch wirklich ein Ritterschlag!

Für  mich persönlich das Beste mit Bezug und Vergleich auf AC/DC was meine Ohren jemals erreicht hat.

Veteran New York heavy metal power trio THE RODS have re-recorded the song "Crank It Up" which originally appeared on their 1981 self titled album, as a part of the album's upcoming 35th Anniversary celebration.

The re-recorded song is available for purchase via itunes, Amazon and CD Baby.

Guitarist David "Rock" Feinstein has checked in with the following comment:
"CRANK IT UP", what more is there to say? It's kind of been our "motto" since day one. Thirty-five years later, we are still slamming our audiences with great powerful music. It's amazing to see all the different generations singing along to this classic RODS "Anthem". Call it "Rock n' Roll", or call it "Heavy Metal", it's meant to be played loud with a passion, and that't what we have done for thirty-five years.

Drummer / producer Carl Canedy has checked in with the following comment:
We felt re-recording our very first single, "Crank it Up", would be a fitting way to commemorate our 35 years together. Originally we'd pressed a few hundred 45's and sent them off to radio stations and record companies without much hope of getting any response. I'll never forget how thrilled I was when I contacted the DJ at a Rochester, NY radio station, asking if he'd received our song and what he thought of it. His response was, "Yeah, we received it, and Crank it Up sounds great on air!". I was floored. It was the first time we'd received any recognition for our music. 35 years later I still love playing the song and the fans still seem to love hearing it.

Bassist Garry Bordonaro has checked in with the following comment:
Re-recording The Rods most recognized early release seemed like an obvious way to celebrate having survived 35 years, almost a miracle! We wanted to show that we still have the same energy and dedication to our fans we had in the beginning. They deserve it after the faith they have shown in us!

The Rods early years saw them open up for Judas Priest, Motorhead, Krokus, Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow, Foghat, as well as playing alonside Virgin Steele, Def Leppard, a rising new band called Metallica and tapped by Iron Maiden to open up their legendary "The Number of the Beast" UK tour".
