Artist Bio
Nik Kai is a gifted 11 year old artist like no other. Having only played guitar for just over a year. Nik is self taught. Nik plays electric, acoustic, and bass guitar. In addition, Nik has begun mastering drums, vocals and Instrumental writing Creating over 30 songs to date. Professionals in the industry are already claiming that Nik Kai is a "child prodigy".
Nik's talents were originally discovered by his God Father Dalvin Degrate, of the R&B Group "JODECI" he was the first to believe that Nik was a Phenomenom. Musicians everywhere are calling Nik " HOT WIRED ". Nik has incredible eye and hand coordination and a exceptional ear for music.
Because of his photographic memory, he is able to learn songs quickly. Nik also has the ability to mimic music instantly and retain it . An AMAZING GIFT !
Nik has recently picked up on Playing the Piano as he has the guitar. In the near future, look for Nik to be performing worldwide. Nik has been interviewed by several news stations and newpapers and Magz "Metal Hammer, No Cover .Metal Assult, Las Vegas Rocks Mag and more .Nik just appeared on Howard Stern, The Morning Blend , Fox and other talk shows referring to him as a "Guitar Phenomenom."
Nik is very involved in military, law enforcement, and firefighter support programs as he has great compassion for these service members and their families. His support includes composing songs for raising awareness for Cancer Research,Inner city children programs, military veterans, the Army A.C.E. program, and 999-Fallen Officers programs thus far.
Nik has great passion and drive to become a world class musician among his own idol's such as; Eddie Van Halen, AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rev Theory, Metallica, POM, Machinehead, Zack Wylde, Slash, Paul Gilbert, Dimebag Darrell, to name a few. Nik is now been picked up by Marshall Amps and is working with Jammit and new App with Apple geared at learning and creating Music with your favorite Musicians.
Nik has walked the Black Carpet at the "REVOLVER GOLDEN GOD AWARDS". "RED CARPET EVENTS" WITH TERRI HATCHER, "RED CARPET"S FOR SEVERAL LA FILM FEST"S," 48 HR ROCKFEST " "LA MUSIC AWARDS" , METAL HAMMER GOLDEN GOD AWARDS & many more.
