Eine besonders herausragende Platte, die man gewissenhaft jedem 80`s Fan spontan ans Herz legen kann. Die Platte beginnt mit dem Titelsong "Apocalyptic Love" und Slash und Myles Kennedy sind ein super geniales Team.
Es handelt sich hier um eine Standard Produktion. Gesang und Gitarre dominieren hier sehr stark. Während die Einflüsse hier unverkennbar bei Gn`r und Altar Bridge liegen. Alles wird durch die Variabilität von Myles Stimme gefördert.
Abschließend klingt die Platte mit "Crazy Life" aus, dieser Song erinnert vom Anfangs Gesang her ein wenig an "Still Of The Night" von Whitesnake.
Und als Schmankerl gibt es noch eine Doku auf DVD.
Für alle 80`s Fans und kurz um ein Album was Axl so nie gemacht hätte!
