Review: GRAND DESIGN - Thrill Of The Night
Hailing from Sweden - Grand Design presenting their 3rd longplayer named Thrill Of The Night. Pros at work. This is another outstanding album and Grand Design proving it once again that they have got all what it takes to be a huge greatness in this rock n roll business. Smashing it up with U Got Me Good and followed by Rawk N Roll Heart Attack GD rocking it up to the fullest.
Produced by leadsinger Pelle Saether the new CD includes 10 tunes - locked n loaded and good to go... You totally feel set back to the 80`s once again. Outstanding rock n roll tunes with Pelle`s voice sounding younger than ever.
Not to disprize but once again I have to say that GD are sounding more like Def Leppard than Def Leppard themselves. Rocking tunes and ballads this is a very good mixture and GD will definitely ride on the wave of success.

Review: Active Heed - Higher Dimensions
The new and 2nd CD from Active Heed includes 12 songs and has got a total playing time of nearly one hour. It is really awesome to see AH released a new album so fast. AH changed their style a bit and so it gives the listener a fresh note.
The Numbers Of God - shortly after the beginning this song rhythm comes along as a DIO song... just saying.
Personally I say.... the rhythms are in reverse as the tunes are really proggy. Mr. Pagnini composed this CD and his friends transacted it one by one. This project is a super team of outstanding and talented musicians.
If you are a fan of the 70-s prog rock you definitely have to buy this killer album.

Reunited east coast band delivers fresh sounds combining old school rock, glam metal and melodic vocals to fans across multiple genres
York, Penn USA October 11, 2014: The Glam Metal Rock Band Scarlett Gypsy has garnered the attention of fans and critics alike with the unveiling of their eagerly awaited debut album - All Access – available now on Amazon, iTunes, CDbaby and Bandcamp.
The bevy of sub-genres associated with glam metal and hard rock have often given birth to one-off bands and songs, but rarely is there an entire band assembled with the primary purpose of getting in a room together to watch what happens when their respective creative juices blend into an album like All Access. Well, Scarlett Gypsy is one band that delivers it straight with the volume cranked up high.
Scarlett Gypsy was an up & coming rock band in 1991-1992 when the industry changed and left them behind. Beginning in 1991 as a highly admired Glam Metal Hard Rock Band, Scarlett Gypsy began taking on America as they journeyed the turbulent east coast early 90’s rock scene in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area. Focusing on clubs like The Empire & The Galaxy that launched the careers of bands like Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Britney Fox, Heavens Edge and Tangier along with hometown hotspot The Tourist Inn that launch bands like Halestorm and Kix.
Fast-forward 20 years – the band reunites and immediately took Google+, Twitter and the rest of the internet by storm. Longing for their music to finally be heard, Scarlett Gypsy put a few songs to some of their concert footage and posted it on YouTube and within a few weeks had over 100,000 views on their Google+ page with fans requesting where they could buy the music. As all things that fade away seem to become fresh again someday, the band decided to independently release their first studio album internationally now available on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, CDbaby and Bandcamp.
Scarlett Gypsy is an American Rock Band originating from York, Pennsylvania with David Mathew on Lead Vocals, Steve Ray on Guitar & Vocals, Robert Douglas on Bass and Scotty Scarlett on Drums & Vocals. Together these four combined create a great new refreshing sound of old school rock complete with blazing guitar riffs, melodic vocals and infectious hooks.
